The Shonkys are the elite back stage crew for the South Metro Showtime Scouting and Guiding stage show based in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

What do the Shonkys do?
The Shonkys Design and construct set for South Metro Showtime. We also build any props that are required for the show. During the run of the show, you will find us Backstage changing set between acts.
So, You want to become a Shonky but don't have the skills
The Shonkys have a wide varied set of skills. We are all volunteers so come from many differing backgrounds. Not having the skills for set design, construction, prop construction or staging is fine, we will teach you.
